Badgley Mischka RTW Fall 2018

11 monthes ago   |   By WWD

The takeaway from Mark Badgley and James Mischka's fall runway was an injection of ease into their high-glam universe. The designers travel the world to engage with clients, who tell them they need special pieces that can take them from day to dinner without the fussiness of an overwrought gown. They want to feel empowered, they want to feel beautiful; most importantly, they want to feel at ease.

After gaining momentum over the past few years - you'd likely recognize her Instagram-famous puffy, quilted jackets among this season's street style stars - designer Sandra Sandor decided it was time to present her line, Nanushka, at New York Fashion Week. Over the past few years, Sandor has been establishing her nomadic line around the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures and the melting pot of aesthetics that made up her Hungarian roots.
There was a white croc-embossed faux leather dungarees , a wrap bustier top in jacquard , and a Parisian-inspired polka dot printed dress. Meanwhile...
